About Terrie Spieker
Passionate about teaching, Terrie Spieker possesses seven years of experience as an educator for the Littleton Public School system. Popular for her unique and engaging lesson plans, Terrie Spieker is committed to helping students reach their potential. Utilizing a variety of teaching techniques, Terrie Spieker was particularly adept at identifying and capitalizing on her student's individual strengths. Terrie Spieker worked closely with students and parents to ensure they received individualized attention, as well as the educational tools needed for success. To stay abreast of the latest trends in education and to sharpen her teaching skills, Terrie Spieker participated in numerous educational workshops to learn the best ways to implement technology in the classroom, manage stress levels, motivate students, and improve assertiveness. Currently, Terrie Spieker attends the University of Colorado Denver, where she intends to earn her Master's degree in Language and Literacy. Terrie Spieker obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Behavioral Science from the Metropolitan State College of Denver. As an undergraduate, Terrie Spieker earned a spot on the President's Honor Roll, demonstrating the dedication and fortitude that came to define her later career. Outside of work, Terrie Spieker enjoys giving back to the community through a number of programs and organizations. Terrie Spieker volunteers for Samaritan Church, where she helps deliver food to local homeless shelters. Terrie Spieker also provides tutoring assistance to disadvantaged children. In addition to her volunteer work, Terrie Spieker supports charitable organizations, such as the American Heart Association and groups that assist disable veterans. A resident of Colorado, Mrs. Terrie Spieker enjoys spending her free time outdoors-camping, hiking, biking, and skiing.
Terrie Spieker's propensity for assisting others began with a career in sales representation and communications. As a representative at the Denver, Colorado, branch of Qwest Communications, Terrie Spieker effectively utilized her client communications skills as well as the latest technologies to solve issues for customers located in the Denver area and within the state of Colorado. Terrie Spieker also responded to employees' needs by upholding the company's policies and spearheading new business efforts. Transitioning to education, Terrie Spieker utilized her prior experience with service to inspire students in the Littleton, Colorado, public school system. Teaching her pupils to see beyond tests and lessons, Terrie Spieker inspired her students to become leaders in Littleton, Denver, and other parts of Colorado, transforming the area's public schools.
